ARCHIE KNOWLES (Campground) Additional Info: Archie Knowles Campground is a small, seasonal campground with 9 developed sites for tents and RVs (no hookups), located beside Highway 126 near Mapleton, Oregon, along Knowles Creek in the Siuslaw National Forest. Managed by Lane County Parks with reservations required. Features potable well water, flush or vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and a caretaker on site. Open mid-April to mid-October. Pets allowed on leash. Day use requires pass.
