Appletree Group Camp
About this site
Appletree Group Campground is a dedicated group camping facility in Nantahala National Forest with four sites: A and D for up to 25 people each, B and C for up to 50 people each. Each site features a picnic shelter, fire ring, lantern posts, flush toilets, water hydrant, parking, and grassy tent areas. A central shower house serves all sites. Reservations required. Open April 1 - October 31. All areas tent camping; one wheeled unit permitted per site in parking area. Pets on leash. Additional Info: Access via combination lock gate. Near Nantahala River, lake, hiking trails, and Mountain Waters Scenic Byway.
