Angel of Shavano Campground
About this site
Angel of Shavano Campground is ideally suited for tent camping with 20 first-come, first-served sites wooded with aspen and spruce trees along the North Fork of the South Arkansas River in San Isabel National Forest at 9,200 feet elevation. Each site has a parking spur, picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Amenities include vault toilets, drinking water from a hand pump, and trash collection. The campground provides access to the Colorado Trail trailhead, fishing in the adjacent river, and nearby group site facilities. Sites accommodate up to 8 people, 2 vehicles, or one small RV up to 30 feet. Pets are allowed. No showers, hookups, or dump station.
