Altamaha Regional Park is located on the banks of the Altamaha River in northern Glynn County, Georgia. The park offers 56 campsites, rental cabins, bait, swimming area, picnic facilities, boat ramps, fishing, fishing pier, camp store, bath houses, laundry facility, wilderness trail, and wilderness surroundings. Camping options include tent sites (10 sites with power and water), primitive sites, and full hook-up RV sites with 50/30 amp service. Amenities include a new handicap-accessible bathhouse, lighted fishing pier, lighted scaling/cleaning dock, nature/bird watching trail, riverfront pavilion with seating, floating docks, playground area, horseshoe pit, and two boat ramps (no fee). The park is open year-round.
