Alta Lake Campground

Alta Lake State Park is a 181-acre camping park located in Pateros, Washington, where mountainous pine forests meet the desert. The park features 115 campsites (93 standard and 32 with full hookups) split across three loops, plus two group camping areas. Alta Lake is approximately two miles long and half a mile wide. The campground is open early April through October. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Amenities include flush toilets, hot-water showers, drinking water, trash collection, dump station, and a park store selling food, supplies, ice, and firewood. Free Wi-Fi is available in limited coverage areas. The park offers boating, canoeing, paddle-boarding, windsurfing, water sports, swimming, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing. An 18-hole golf course is located in the area. Good trout fishing is available during summer months. Lake Chelan is approximately 30 minutes away.
