Alfred A. Loeb State Park is a year-round campground located on the banks of the Chetco River on the southern Oregon coast, approximately 8 miles from Brookings, Oregon. The park features 53 camping sites and 3 rental cabins with river views. Campsites are 20 feet in length with water located 15 feet inside each site. Amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, picnic tables, fire rings, and direct river access. The park is surrounded by myrtlewood groves and redwood-filled hiking trails, including the northernmost coastal redwood grove in the United States. Visitors can enjoy fishing, swimming, rafting, and wildlife viewing including osprey, river otters, and seasonal salmon and steelhead.
