Airport Campground C is a primitive backcountry campsite in Canyonlands National Park's Island in the Sky district along the White Rim Road. It is one of four individual sites (A, B, C, D) in the Airport camping area, each accommodating up to 15 people and 3 vehicles. An overnight permit is required via Recreation.gov and is highly competitive. Primitive with no potable water or shade; pack in all supplies. Shares vault toilet with site D. Rocky terrain suitable for tents. Additional Info: Located at approximately 4,516 feet elevation with views of red rock canyons and Airport Tower. Accessible via 4WD high-clearance vehicle on White Rim Road (1.5 hours from Island in the Sky Visitor Center).
