Agnew Meadows Campground includes a Family Campground, a Group Campground, and an Equestrian Campground. It is located in the Reds Meadow Valley, just west of Mammoth Lakes, California. Additional Info: Located at 8,400 feet elevation in a lodgepole pine forest surrounded by high mountain peaks, adjacent to creeks, meadows, and a small lake. Provides access to hiking trails including High Trail, Shadow Creek Trail, River Trail, Ansel Adams Wilderness, and Pacific Crest Trail. Popular for horseback riding, fishing, and photography. Narrow single-lane road access only open in summer; shuttle required for some trailheads during peak season. Bear-proof food storage required.
