Trail shelter located on the Appalachian Trail. Additional Info: Cable Gap Shelter is a three-sided log shelter on the Appalachian Trail in Nantahala National Forest. It offers tenting areas, a privy less than 50 yards behind, a fire ring, and a creek water source directly in front.
