A.T. BLUE MOUNTAIN SHELTER (Camping Area) Additional Info: Blue Mountain Shelter is a three-sided Appalachian Trail shelter that sleeps approximately 7 hikers with ample flat spots for tent camping nearby. A seasonal spring for water is located on a blue-blazed trail 80-100 yards behind or in front of the shelter, which may go dry. There is a privy and 2 bear boxes available. No potable water at the shelter.
