Designated backcountry campsite 4R2 - Ribbon Lake North, located near Ribbon Lake in Yellowstone National Park. Accessible by hiking approximately 2.5-3.5 miles from the trailhead via the Ribbon Lake Trail from Upper Falls Viewpoints parking area. Large, open site with easy access to the lake. Part of the park's permit-required backcountry camping system; reservations available in advance for $25 per trip. Additional Info: Requires backcountry permit from Yellowstone National Park. One party per site limit, maximum 3 nights. Follow Leave No Trace principles.
